The last time I had the pleasure of working with Brittany and Donald was a few years ago, right after Donald got home from deployment – it was such a thrill getting to stand there on the pier with Brittany and see her get so emotional when she was finally wrapped up in Donald’s arms! But that was a while ago, so when we got together again to do their woodsy maternity session, it was a blast to catch up and see where life has taken these two!

With Donald getting ready to deploy and Brittany pregnant with their first baby, these two knew they wanted to capture this moment in a special way. So heading out to Lake Lawson to take pictures was the perfect spot to get some new photos done, and prepare things for their little man who’s about to make an appearance and change their world completely!

Brittany and Donald (and Baby P!), I loved shooting your woodsy maternity session, thank you so much for allowing me to come and document these moments for you! I know that deployment is going to be tough, but there is do doubt in my mind that you two are strong enough to get through anything, and having this new little person is only going to make your bond stronger!!! Know that the best is yet to come!!!
