Whenever we put together a wedding shoot, it is always with the intent that the person viewing the images can take break from reality and enter our whimsical wonderland wedding. This is all the more appropriate with an Alice in Wonderland themed wedding! Local vendors came together at the Virginia Museum of Contemporary Art to create a fantastical wonderland that would delight the senses and give you some serious eye candy. Add in the fact that we have a gorgeous bride, bright, bold colors, and sweets that will make you want to “eat me”… it truly creates a place where the imagination can soar, and gives wedding inspiration for the adventurous bride!
Whimsical Wonderland Wedding – Down the Rabbit Hole
This whimsical wonderland wedding was inspired by the move “Alice”, we wanted to put together something that was fun, bright and colorful, and a little different than what you would normally see in a styled wedding.
Alice’s world lent itself perfectly to the unique – with little touches like the “eat me” and “drink me” signage, amazing vintage pieces, and unique paper flower bouquets. This shoot was truly a labor of love, with many local vendors pouring their blood, sweat (and sometimes even tears!) into making this session come to life. But we can all agree that it was worth every moment when all the elements came together and we were able to see the shoot come to life.
