This Virginia Beach oceanfront proposal was actually the second time Chris proposed to Elizabeth.

The first time he popped the question, Chris and Elizabeth both agreed that there was a lot going on in their lives.

They both wanted to be engaged, but the timing was off.

That’s when Chris hatched his brilliant idea!

Virginia Beach Oceanfront Proposal

The trip to Virginia Beach started out a little rocky.

Car trouble and crazy weather caused us to reschedule from the original date we planned.

But it actually all worked out for the best.

The day that I came out to the beach, Chris, Elizabeth and their 3 kids were all playing in the sand.

Chris had convinced the oldest boy to keep mommy busy while he wrote “mommy will you marry daddy” in the sand.

When he finished writing everything out, he called Elizabeth over to read what he had written.

You could see the shock on her face, and the joyful smile as she said yes!

On bended knee, Chris placed the ring on Elizabeth’s finger – then pointed to where I was so she would see that I was capturing everything!

After a few happy tears, we took a few moments and captured some photos of the family, then of just Chris and Elizabeth.

You could tell that she was completely floored.

Elizabeth couldn’t help but grin from ear to ear!
