When my head finally hit the pillow on Saturday night – at the supremely early hour of 9 o’clock – I was exhausted. It had been a long week of coordinating and scheduling and making sure that everything fit together correctly… and that’s tiring! Not to mention actually executing the workshop! But I knew that regardless of how tired we were, the pin up workshop was a success, and we got some amazing images of the lovely models who transformed themselves into vintage vixens for the afternoon!

Vintage Vixens

This photography workshop was held at The Studio HR in Virginia Beach, and gave us a few different options for photography options – indoors there were a few different rooms we could use, and outdoors we had some bright yellow flowers and a woodsy background. Outdoors was a great option… as long as you could find a model to come out a freeze for a few minutes 🙂

Katrina Palmer – who was Miss Virginia Beach Pinup 2015 – came and did the hair and makeup styling for all the models, as well as providing “her whole pin up life”, such as dresses, shoes, and accessories galore! Not only did this get all the girls excited for the photos, but really helped give a sense of authenticity to the event!

I’m so stoked with how well this photography workshop went! It was a total blast getting to hang out with everyone for a few hours on Saturday, get to work with some pretty amazing photographers, and even manage to grab a few shots of the beautiful vintage vixens who were modeling. Eric and I have already had people asking for another one, so I’m sure there will be another one soon!
