Y’all, I’ve seen a LOT of adorable wedding themes, but I have to say, this sweet donut themed wedding definitely took the cake! Err… well, it took the donut anyway 😉

Catherine and Justin had a super sweet engagement story that centered around a dozen donuts from O’Doodle Doo’s (check out that blog post via this link), so it was only natural that the sweet donut themed wedding feature them as well! Those delicious treats, along with little donut trucks, donut lollipops and some super adorable shoes – made for an adorable wedding day for Catherine and Justin!

I love getting to hear how our couples met, and for Justin and Catherine, their fateful connection was made online through a popular dating service. According to OKCupid, “Smigsby85” and “colonialflyer” had a 97% compatibility rate, so Justin sent Catherine a message and the rest is history! Years later, it made for an adorable story at the wedding, and they have 97% engraved on the inside of their rings.

Justin broke his foot while he was surfing, so that means he got to sport this cast on the wedding day!

Catherine and Justin, Eric and I had a total blast with you guys at the wedding! Your families are so sweet and wonderful – and from what we hear, waiting on those grandbabies! 😉 I know that with such strong marriages in your families, y’all are on the path for success. Just remember that love is a daily choice, and you get to wake up every day and CHOOSE to love the other person because you made this commitment!
