There are few things I love more than a beach photo shoot, but doing a sunset beach session is probably it! The colors, the waves lapping on the beach, the calming sounds of nature… add in a cute family and it’s a recipe for success!

Sunset Beach Session

Celeste and I have known each other for over 8 years now. We met when I was pregnant with my daughter Mara, where we were both part of a local moms group. Since that time, both of our families have grown up (I even got to add a husband and bonus son – yay!), so it was great to be able to reconnect and take pictures for her family at this sunset beach session.

The Greene family was so much fun! The boys were all about playing in the sand and goofing off together, and mom and dad eventually warmed up and got into the spirit of things and relaxed too. One of the best compliments I got that night was when Celeste’s husband told me at the end of the session that he had so much fun that he wasn’t even worried about his smile being fake. We were laughing and joking and having such a good time that before we knew it, the sun was going down and we got to capture some of the most amazing colors of the Virginia Beach setting sun!

Celeste, thank you for sharing your family with me! It was so great getting to know your boys and your hubby, and I hope you guys enjoy all the gorgeous images we captured!
