While it may not officially be summertime, we’re already over here planning our Summer 2018 photography events!

We want to keep people inspired and out there taking pictures, so we have some fun events coming up over the next few months.

Usually we try and spread photo get-togethers over June, July and August. But since we’ve got a destination wedding in Colorado and our family is taking a cruise in July, we’re short by one month.

No worries, that just means more awesomeness in June and August!

Summer 2018 Photography Events

Coffee and Camera’s – A Match Made in Heaven

At these fun Meetups, local photogs get together and talk about photography over a cup of coffee!
Our discussion topics will vary each month: we’ll talk about gear, shooting tips, and ideas to get your trigger finger going!

Wednesday, June 13th at 10am – Town Center Cold Pressed

Thursday, July 12th at 9am – American Brew

Tuesday, August 7th at 11am – Pour Favor Coffee Shop 

Headshot Swap

Date – Sunday, August 19th at 6:30pm

Location – Private Park (directions sent out when you reserve your spot)

This will be the 6th year that we’ve hosted a headshot swap event and we are so excited to be doing it again and sharing some of our top secrets to getting those images that are really going to convey who YOU are!

Participants get the chance to have an updated headshot taken, as well as practice photographing other people and learn tips and tricks in a short lecture.

Open to photographers of all skill levels

Social Media for Photographers

Date – Tuesday, June 19th at 7pm

Location – Fresh Look Photography Studio

Join us during this mini-workshop in the Fresh Look Studio where we delve into using social media to grow your photography business. We will focusing on different social networks, the importance of scheduling your social media, placing these networks in tiers and really figuring out what you want to make time for in order to most effectively utilize each one. We will also look at how you can make social media work for you and get your name out there to a broader audience.
