Liz and Corey are one of those couples that you meet and immediately think: I want to be best friends with you guys! They both possess such an easy, carefree attitude; turning everything into a reason to smile and love on each other. So when they asked us to photograph at their St Paul Catholic Church wedding a few weeks ago, I was totally on board! Not only would we get to photograph at one of the most beautiful historic, gothic style churches; we would get to spend more time with these two lovebirds (I call that a win!).
St Paul Catholic Church Wedding
When I arrived and popped my head in to check on the handsome groom, he was doing awesome! Corey was already dressed and kept asking when he would get to see his (almost) wife. Meanwhile Liz was still getting all gussied up (because we all know that us ladies always take a bit longer to get ready 🙂 ). But when she was finally ready to go and do a first look with Corey, it was nothing short of magical!
After the first look, Liz and Corey get into place in the church so they could begin their wedding mass. One of the most fun parts of the mass is when the priest pronounces the bride and groom married and they finally get to kiss each other as man and wife! The bride and groom are always so joyful, and their giant smiles are contagious!!!
After the wedding, we stopped by a nearby park (and we’ll use the term park loosely since it was more like a semi-shaded pathway), and got some gorgeous bridal party pictures before shooing everyone else away and focusing on just Liz and Corey for their wedding photos.
Liz and Corey, thank you guys so much for allowing me to come and document such a special moment in your life! I can’t wait till deployment is over and you two are able to have the big, giant party to celebrate with all your family and friends!!!
