We loved getting to stretch our creative muscle a bit at this romantic woodsy engagement shoot. Brian and Tamarra are a super classy couple and wanted something where they could dress up a little. But also a place where they could kick back, and have some fun together.

I think we found the perfect location with this romantic woodsy engagement shoot at Woodstock Park. I’ll be honest, it was the first session I’ve done at this location. But after seeing how gorgeous the images came out, I think I’m gonna have to come back here more often!

Romantic Woodsy Engagement Shoot

For two years Brian and Tamarra attended the same church and their paths never crossed until the night of January 28th, 2017. This was no ordinary Saturday night. Not only was this the night Brian would become an ordained minister it was also the night of Freedom Life Church’s annual Combined Service, where the congregations of all 3 weekend services come together for a night of celebration and vision casting. Needless to say that the air was electric! Brian was preparing to lead worship as Tamarra prepared to man the t-shirt table where hundreds would come to get their new FLC gear.

In the haste of the evening, Brian never tried on his shirt so he went to the t-shirt table to retrieve a second shirt to have on standby for a quick outfit change between songs. Little did he know, Tamarra was equipped with instructions that would make this tougher than he expected.

After much resistance from Tamarra, Brian talked her into giving him the second shirt with a promise to return it immediately after he came off stage. During the service Brian found Tamarra returned the shirt and the two didn’t see each other for the rest of the night. Although Brian won the shirt, Tamarra won his attention.

Two weeks later they went on their first date and things quickly snowballed from there! Today, Brian and Tamarra seek to show others the power of having a God-centered relationship.

We always encourage our couples to snuggle up and get a little silly. I don’t think any of us were quite prepared for Brian! He was so sweet the entire photo shoot, and when it came time for him to make Tamarra blush – he was the right man for the job!
