For her Old Dominion graduation photos, Virginia met me at the Norfolk campus.
She was celebrating her graduation from ODU with her BSN – quite an accomplishment!
While we were taking photos, Virginia told me about her experience going through the nursing program.
How no one could have prepared her for the hundreds of hours of clinicals that were required, on top of all the classes and exams.
Virginia said that even though it was incredibly tough, she was super proud and would absolutely do it all over again.

Something that made this session even more special was the fact that Alex – Virginia’s boyfriend – came to the session.
Alex was wonderful helping carry her bag, and he even jumped in to take a few photos with Virginia.
Being a graduate of ODU a few years ago, Alex said it was nostalgic for him to walk the campus again.
