Norfolk (and more specifically Ocean View) really gets a bad rep. Since the area started to get a facelift, it’s turning into quite an amazing space! And there are so many beautiful options for portrait sessions, especially here, at one of the most unique parks in the area in the Ocean View area! This location has so many live oak trees, which have been twisted and blown from years of storms of the Chesapeake Bay.

The results are graceful, sweeping, winding branches that make the perfect portrait setting for the Kroener family.

Ocean View Family Session

I first met Patrizia through the wedding industry. She was working with our dear friend Crystal with Cherry Blossom Planning Factory (hey girl hey!), and we would see each other at weddings.

We were all there working, but that really just meant that we had an excuse to hang out and party together while serving our rad couples!

So when Patrizia contacted me about taking her first set of family pictures, I was super stoked! It was even more important to be because this was the first time they were doing pictures with their sweet baby girl Zara. I know you are going to fall in love with this little family. I mean, did you see their adorable baby’s cheeks?!

Patrizia and Michael, thank you for sharing your family with me. I had a so much fun hanging out and spending time with you guys, we definitely need to spend more time together soon!
