Last weekend local teens got the chance to dive into a world of nightmares, dream, and fantasies, as they takeover MOCA for an evening of frightful entertainment. Dressing as their worst fear or nightmare to enter the costume contest, dined on foods fit for the underworld, sipped on ghoulish mocktails, checked out the art exhibits, listened to live music by Padfoot, and more. This event was exclusively for teens in middle and high school, and was hosted by students from Virginia Beach schools.

Nightmares Are Made of These

In between all the fun that was going on throughout the night, everyone had the chance to pop in front of an awesome hand-painted backdrop (courtesy of the awesome students at MOCA!) and get their picture taken at the photo booth. It was really awesome for us to see all the creativity that the teens put into their costumes… it really goes to prove that nightmares are made of these!
