Navy and Blush Wedding

Every wedding is different, and I love seeing all the care and thought that each couple infuses into their big day! For Meghan and Andy, they wanted to have soft, feminine navy and blush wedding colors for her, as well as a nod towards the nautical theme (Love Anchors the Soul) for Andy’s service in the military.

From the beginning of the day, it was nothing but love and laughter for these two and their families. Meghan was all smiles as she sat getting her hair and makeup done, and once he was dressed, Andy wanted nothing more than to see his beautiful bride and “get that woman to the chapel!” When they finally got together for the first look and Andy uncovered his eyes, he said he didn’t want to touch Meghan because she was so beautiful. Aawww!!!

It seemed to be unseasonably hot on that May day, but as soon as the minister said a blessing over Andy and Meghan and pronounced them man and wife, it was nothing but ear to ear smiles for this couple (and everyone in the chapel!).

After spending some time outside the chapel on base getting some gorgeous family and bridal party pictures we came to my favorite part of the day: taking pictures of the new Mr and Mrs!!! 🙂

Peonies might just be my favorite flowers, and these soft, romantic bouquets are the perfect accent to the wedding day!

For the reception, we headed back to Meghan’s parents house, which was looking picture perfect thanks to all the remodeling that had recently been done! It was the perfect casual event, with the bride and groom getting to mingle with guests, laugh, share stories and be perfectly themselves.
Meghan and Andy, thank you so much for allowing us to be part of your wedding day! We had so much fun with you guys and getting to meet your family really helps us see where you get all your awesome from! We wish you all the joy in the world as you embark on this journey together!
