No matter what anyone else says, deployments are hard! And when you’ve got two little tykes to look after while daddy is gone for months on end, it can seem even more interminable. So when Krystal contacted me saying that she wanted to do a magical woodsy photo shoot with her two little ones, I was excited to make some magic! Not only did we have a blast traipsing around the forest together, we got some amazing images to share with her hubby to help make the long days of deployment a little more bearable.

Magical Woodsy Photo Shoot

Krystal was telling me that they are the most loving family ever! She is very supportive of the military, and is incredibly proud that her husband (the kids daddy) is out serving for our country. As a family they love to go on any type of adventures: making sure to travel both far and close to home. Krystal and her family love the salt and sea! With her husband being a Navy diver and Krystal a self-proclaimed mermaid, it’s only natural that they spend lots of time at the beach!

One of the things Krystal says she misses the most about her hubby being gone (besides everything!) is him watching the kids grow and hit each new milestone. This hits home most especially for their daughter who was just a baby when he left and now is crawling (almost walking), talking, and has teeth!
Now that her hubby is home from deployment, Krystal is looking forward to simply being able to have her family be together. Going on adventures together, watching him make the kids laugh, and sharing in all the memories they will make (both good and bad).

Krystal, thank you for allowing me to capture your sweet little ones in this special time and I am very much looking forward to the next time we are all about to get together and make some magic in front of the camera!
