Love is love, and if you know Jenn and Wendy and their sweet little princess – nothing could be truer! Walking around the historic Freemason district and taking some updated photos for this sweet family was a blast! Fun fact – we did these photos on the first day of Norfolk Harborfest. Might not sound like a big deal, but for a location that is usually pretty deserted, the streets were teeming with people who were on their way to snag a spot to watch all the boats and fireworks. It definitely made for some interesting people watching!

Love is Love – Edwards Family

Our family is really laid back! We like going on bike rides, watching movies, and just spending time together. We’re HUGE sports fans, and love the Pittsburgh Trifecta: Steelers, Pirates, Penguins.
I’m a military child, and have lived all over the place, including Germany, Washington State, Alabama, and Colorado.
Wendy had never left the Continental US until last year when she was deployed for 8 months.
Adeline is two. She loves applesauce, the pool, and splashing in puddles.
We like to go on trips, usually to Pittsburgh. When we’re there we usually go out to a sports bar to watch football or hockey, go see the Buccos (pirates), ride bikes, shop at the Strip, or just hang out with family. My whole family lives there, mom and dad’s side, so there’s always someone to see or something to do.
Being a military family, the time we get to spend together is amazing, no matter what we’re doing. Wendy was gone for 8 of Adeline’s first 15 months of life, so just hanging out together is our favorite thing to do.
