“Once in a while, right in the middle of an ordinary life, love gives you a fairytale.” For Amanda and Josh, they finally got their happily ever after as they celebrated their literary love together with family and friends at a perfect wedding day a few weeks ago. Amanda wanted a vintage theme and had to tie in her favorite things (books, of course!), and beautiful teapots, old hardbound books, and sweet bunches of baby’s breaths and carnation flowers set the mood for the bride and groom’s reception.
We shared Amanda’s Bridal Session a few weeks ago, if you missed that, you’ll definitely want to check out all the gorgeousness via { THIS LINK } because she was beautiful!!!
Literary Love
Amanda and Josh have had a love story that spanned 6 years, from high school to college and postgraduate studies (they both just recently graduated from ODU!), it has been a fun and sometimes challenging road for these two. But seeing the fruits of their love harvested, and all the joy that was present on their wedding day – you can’t help but be swept up in the love that they share for each other… it’s contagious!
After their wedding, Amanda and Josh went on a super romantic honeymoon in Ocracoke Island, NC, and are now getting ready for another big change: moving to New York to start another adventure together (and this time, it will be as husband and wife!). I’m sure it will be a bit sad for them to leave Virginia Beach since they both have strong family ties here in Hampton Roads – but these two are both super excited about starting the next chapter in their lives and seeing where it will take them.
Amanda and Josh, thank you so much for being amazing and such kind hearted people. Not just on the wedding day, but for just being amazing people in general! Eric and I had so much fun with you on the wedding day laughing together and getting to know your families and loved ones. I know that the future has so many amazing things in store for you, and we wish you success in everything you do!
