We are always looking for fun Christmas family activities.

Theses days, our three kiddos (two 13 year old boys and a 9 year old girl) would much rather have screen time rather than facetime.

So what’s a momma to do in order to make the season special (and entice the kids away from their electronics?!

A few years ago, I started doing advent calendar activities with the kids.

I saw it as a way to have genuine interaction with the kids, while helping make the season special for all of us.

Fast forward a few years and the activities have changed somewhat, but the joy they spark hasn’t.

Cook Breakfast for Dinner

Bake Holiday Goodies
Call Family Members and Sing a Christmas Carol for Them
Visit the Christmas Train Show
