This Falls Park photo shoot in South Carolina absolutely took my breath away. First of all, we lucked out and had absolutely gorgeous weather. And once you arrived at the park, there were so many unique places to take pictures. And the amount of people who were out, enjoying the nice weather, was amazing. I mean, you would expect that there would be a few people in a public park, but this place took that cake. Families were out enjoying a walk, couples were laying on blankets on the grass, and the sound of children’s laughter was everywhere.

Honestly being here, you can’t help but feel joyful and connected to everything!

Falls Park Photo Shoot

The whole reason I made the trek from Virginia Beach to South Carolina was to do a session for some dear friends.

Initially I met Heather and Jared and took pictures at their wedding. I will forever be grateful for them introducing me to the Black and Blue nachos at Lubo’s Wine Bar! Seriously, if you haven’t tried them yet, go. Right now! They’re delish!

Then our relationship grew and I did a maternity session, newborn photos for their son, and a few different sets of family photos. It’s been so much fun getting to see their family grow, and loving on their babies (who are SO cute!).

Heather and I are pretty good friends, and it’s not just because of our shared love of red wine blends. So when we found out that their family was moving to South Carolina because of Jared’s new command, we were all bummed. But we knew it was never goodbye, just see you later.

Heather and Jared, I love y’all bunches and am SO glad you gave me an excuse to come down and spend time together! Can’t wait to do it again soon!
