Coffee & Camera’s – A Match Made in Heaven

At these fun Meetups, local photogs get together and talk about photography over a cup of coffee!
Our discussion topics will vary each month: we’ll talk about gear, shooting tips, and ideas to get your trigger finger going!

We’re announcing three different dates for this free social event.

They are spread them out over different dates, times and locations to give everyone a chance to participate:

Artist Date at Chrysler Museum

Tuesday, October 9, 2018 at 10:30am

.

Join us at Chrysler Museum for an artist date, and take in all the new exhibits.

Admission is free to the galleries, and there is onsite parking.

Some of the photo exhibits I’m most excited about:

Vik Muniz currently has a photography gallery on display: Photography and the Rebirth of Wonder.

He is an amazing artist working today, using unusual elements in his creations.

From Ansel Adams to Infinity – Considered the godfather of photography, this exhibit shares works from Ansel Adams nearly seven decade career.

Group Photo Critique

Date – November 19th at 5:45pm

Joint Use Library Room L102 – This room is downstairs by the entrance.

It’s easy to become annoyed or even offended by submitting an image to get critique in an online community.

But if you can see past the noise, there are a lot of awesome photographers who will kindly lend you their expertise.

Join us at the TCC/CITY JOINT-USE LIBRARY to learn about how to effectively critique images, and see our members work.

We encourage you to submit images to be critiqued!

Photos of all kinds are welcome: landscape, portrait, architectural, etc.

Images can be emailed by hitting the {Contact Me} button, please include “Image for Critique” in the subject or body of the email.
