Nikkia and Pete opted for an early morning photoshoot due to work schedules.
Now typically I don’t suggest morning sessions, but with the summer heat in full effect – it was a good call!

How did you two meet?
Pete and I met at the College of Beauty and Barber Culture in 2008.

What did you do on your first date?
We had a really awesome first date!
The two of us met at Applebees, and shared dinner together.
Then we decided to go riding after eating to chat and get to know each other better.

What are some of your favorite things to do together?
There are so many things!
We love listening to music and going out dancing together. Taking trips out of town are always fun. But for us, family time is a big thing as well.
At the end of the day, as long as we are together, it doesn’t matter what we are doing!

When did you know he was the one?
Pete has truly been my help mate since the day I met him.
He has remained the same, and I am so thankful for him.

If you had to pick a word for your relationship, what would it be?
Go-Getters!

What are 3 Dreams/Goals for your marriage?
- Have a flourishing relationship
