Being a family means you are part of something very wonderful. It means you will love and be loved for the rest of your life, no matter what.

 

When I met the DeBoer family for the complimentary photo session through Operation Love Reunited, I just knew we were going to have a great time together!!! We met at one of my all time favorite locations, in the middle of the afternoon at the end of  January and it was almost 70 degrees! No seriously!!! (gotta love Virginia weather :D) With the gorgeous conditions we were working with, how could you NOT have a fun play date?!

We started out photographing the two menfolk first while mom got little miss ready for her spotlight. The boys were so much fun! I loved that dad (who is gone for training now and then to a deployment for the rest of the year) really cut loose and was willing to play and have fun with the kids! Some of the faces he made at them were priceless! I know that these will be treasured memories for the family while he is deployed.

Once mom came back with the baby, we were able to snag some adorable pictures of the two of them together! I love looking at these pictures, the fact that everyone is in summery clothes, and knowing that the photos were taking at the end of January (most of the US is dealing with real winter, but not us ^_^)

I am so happy that I was able to spend some time with this awesome family, I look forward to seeing them again throughout the year and especially when we stand together at the end of the year to welcome daddy home to the loving arms of his family <3
