There are only 50 days until Christmas (if you want to keep track, check out this awesome {LINK}), and that means it’s time to start thinking about Christmas cards: will you have a photo card or a letter, will it have one photo or 3, will it have a traditional design or be more contemporary and fun? Hmm, bet you didn’t think there would be so much to think about!
But don’t worry! I’m here to help you navigate some of the challenges and make it super easy for you to order custom holiday cards from Fresh Look Photography!
Common Questions about Christmas Cards
What size are the cards?
Holiday cards are standard card size, at 5×7 inches.
How many template versions are available?
There will be 8 options and each will be available in horizontal and vertical orientation.
Can custom designs be created?
Absolutely!!! If you are not tickled pink with any of the card designs, we can find a custom creation just for you, for an additional small fee.
What type of paper are available?
Matte finish paper and Linen finish paper will be the gorgeous options this year.
How long will it be from order to delivery?
Typically card orders take between 1 – 1½ weeks from the time I place the order to delivery at my house.
Are envelopes included?
Absolutely! You will get an envelope for each card as well as a few extra (just in case you make a boo boo)
How many session images can be included?
Typically clients will choose one standout image for their card, but you can include up to 3 images, depending on the type of design you choose. However, keep in mind that the more images you include, the smaller each picture will be.
Can we use an image from a past photo shoot or do we have to book a new photo shoot?
You are certainly welcome to use an image from a previous portrait session with Fresh Look Photography. If you’ve got a photo in mind that you want to use for your holiday card, feel free to let me know and we can set up a time for you to pick out your card, wording, etc.
When can I place my holiday card order?
Right away! The sooner the better because generally the closer you get to Christmas, production time can take a little bit longer.
What is the last day to place a card order?
I would recommend placing your order no later than December 10th in order to have enough time to receive them back and send them out before Christmas.
What’s my favorite card?
I’m not going to share the card that I like best because I want people to be surprised when they see it in their mailbox! But here is something like what I sent out last year… I am so in love with those sweet little faces!!!
