Angela and I have been friends for a long time, one of my earliest memories of the two of us is being at her house hiding up in her room playing with nail polish when we were supposed to be downstairs hanging out with all the other kids. While our lives have taken us in two different directions (with Angela enlisting in the Army and taking off to see the world), we’ve still remained close, and always try and make time to get together when she comes home to visit. And the fact that this visit came at a time when we could do a cherry blossom session made it even better!
I love taking pictures of Angela because she is so freaking gorgeous!!! Seriously, she makes me job so easy! When we did her bridal portraits at Norfolk Botanical Gardens in 2011, she was so stunning that the Garden marketing department ended up using one of her images in their bridal ads!
Cherry Blossom Session
When I found out Angela was home visiting from Fort Polk and I realized that the cherry blossom’s were in bloom, I just KNEW that I had to get her out there and take advantage of the gorgeous scenery and do her maternity session!
Angela and Andrew, I can’t wait for baby Madison to make her appearance! I know that you two are going to be the most amazing parents and I wish nothing but the best for you and your beautiful family.

[…] I definitely got more walking in, although not in the traditional “I’m gonna go walk and get some exercise” way. I made it a point to get outside with my kiddos more, plus it helped that I was working a lot and that kept me on my feet and moving around! I was super excited to not only be able to photograph cherry blossoms as they were in bloom, but being able to incorporate my dear friend Angela into the session and show off her cute baby bump (check out her gorgeous session HERE) […]
