This Norfolk Botanical Gardens surprise proposal was lovely and oh so romantic!
When Angel first contacted me, he was a man who knew exactly what he wanted.
The plan for him was always to do a surprise proposal for his (then) girlfriend Alexis.
Timing was something that had to be pretty specific because there were so many factors, including when Alexis’ parents would be in town.
When everything finally fell into place, Angel gave me a call and we made plans for him to propose to the love of his life!

Norfolk Botanical Gardens Surprise Proposal
We started out at Norfolk Botanical Gardens, and Alexis was under the assumption that we were going to be doing a maternity photoshoot.
It was so exciting knowing that such a big surprise was coming down the pipe!
We wandered around the garden stopping at different places, but it wasn’t until we got to Renaissance Court that Angel gave me the signal.
He took hold of Alexis’ hand, and read her a note he had written before the session.
After a few emotional moments, he got down on one knee, and Alexis gave a joyful (if not a little teary) YES!
I am so happy for these two and their growing family.
Angel and Alexis, I wish you nothing but so much happiness in the future, and can’t wait to meet the newest little nugget!
