A Best Friend is the kind of person who knows you inside and out, yet associates with you anyway. They love you to the core. They know your deepest darkest secrets, and keep them forever. They know your flaws, and disregard them happily. They hold your hand when you cry and are right by your side when you’re laughing so hard you can’t breathe. If you have a best friend, you are blessed beyond measure. But if not, you could spend your entire life searching for that someone.
I first met Amanda a few years ago, and we were a bit skeptical about each other (apparently she thought I would have horns or something!). But over the years, our relationship has grown and we have developed into something deep, becoming best friends. There is absolutely nothing I wouldn’t tell this woman, and I know that she feels the same way about me. In today’s society of having disposable everything, and there not being a whole lot that carries a sense of permanency, it’s nice to know that I have at least one person who I know I can call in the middle of the night. You know, that person who you can be real with, no matter what shenanigans may happen (but that might cause you to get this face!)
A good friend knows all your stories, A best friend has lived them with you.
God bless Amanda! When we did her photo shoot I had just gotten back from a photography conference and was dying to try some new ideas and poses. Something you need to know about Amanda is that she isn’t really a girly girl. So when I asked her to twirl her hair and act silly, this what I got: face palm. Oh well, you can’t blame a girl for trying 😉
Constant use will not wear ragged the fabric of friendship.
Since I was already out doing pictures for Amanda, I snapped a few of Wesley and Mara as well. I know I’m a little biased, but these two are so stinkin adorable!!!
Amanda, thank you so much for your precious gift of friendship, I love you and am so thankful that we are in each other’s lives. I truly believe that everything happens for a reason, and you being a kick awesome best friend is exactly what I needed, both back when we met and now!
