Best Day Together

My husband Dalton and I met in the summer of 2009 and immediately we were inseparable. We got married on March 27 of 2010, then moved to Virginia in April, and have been stationed here ever since. We bought a house in Chesapeake almost 3 years ago. Dalton is now going through the hiring process for the NNSY apprenticeship program, which he will start while I’m overseas if accepted. I will be transferring to shore duty upon returning from deployment. If Dalton is working at NNSY then, we will be in the area for at least another 4 years.

Our little man Brandon is very smart and extremely energetic. He loves running everywhere and struggles to listen when we tell him to stop for his own safety. He loves Paw Patrol, Wild Kratts, Super Why, Little Einsteins, and a few other PBS kids’ shows (I’ll be honest, some of which I don’t know the names). He loves shooting his bow, building things, kicking and throwing any ball, digging in the mud, and dumping his toys out of his toy box. He is in the Preschool class at the Child Development Center on base. We have not decided if we will leave him there for Pre-K or if we will enroll him in Chesapeake Public School District this August. I don’t want to miss his first day of school, so my vote is to leave him at the CDC another year.
