One of the perks of getting engaged (and married) is that not only do you get your significant other, but you also get their family. It’s a package deal and – whether you get along or not – they are now a part of your family too!  Luckily the in-laws I’m inheriting are pretty awesome, and it was so much fun for me to be able to take the Soule family out for some beach lovin and to get some new family photos taken by the sea!

Beach Lovin

This adorable family of four was officially established back in 2009 when Mike and Nicki got married, but their love story started years before that on a warm September day in 2006. Over the years these two have seen lots of changes: like Nicki moving down from her family home in Maine, have their two adorable little princesses, buying a house here in Virginia Beach, and finding jobs that make them happy (that one is still a work in progress!).

When it comes to the day to day living, it’s hard to remember how much you love and care about your family. We’re all too caught up in doing laundry, cooking dinner, shuttling kids to and from places… so it’s nice to be able to take time out and focus on the ones you love.

I heard a quote a while back that said “the days are long, but the years are short.” Nicki and Mike, I hope that you two are able to truly treasure each other and your little ladies because you’re going to blink and everything will change! I am so lucky to have you as a part of my family and can’t wait to make memories with you guys!
