f you’ve been following my photography page on Facebook recently, you know that I have been posting a LOT of pictures of alcoholic beverages!
No, it’s not because I’ve suddenly developed a fondness for Absolut Vodka.
This has all been in preparation for the Absolut ARTini event happening at the Virginia Museum of Contemporary Art.
Ten of the area’s local restaurants showcase their creativity and distinct style in preparing their signature “ARTini”. A ten week campaign precedes the gala event, featuring a weekly happy hour at each restaurant to promote their ARTini in hopes of getting your vote. This year’s theme is the roaring 20’s and includes a red carpet event entrance, ARTinis, open bar with throwback “bathtub gin” cocktails, fine fare, dancing, silent art auction, VIP area and MORE!
So without further ado, here are the contenders that are vying for this year’s Absolute ARTini award!
