As a proposal photographer, I was lucky enough to witness a truly unforgettable moment that unfolded within the hotel’s charming embrace.

The story begins with Sam, a man clearly smitten with his girlfriend, Faith.
Sam had booked a special afternoon at the Cavalier – it was the perfect excuse to celebrate a special dinner.
Unbeknownst to Faith, Sam had a much bigger surprise planned.
The historic elegance, the attentive staff, and the beautiful gardens all came together to create a truly unforgettable experience for Sam and Faith.

Historic Cavalier Hotel Surprise Proposal

The Cavalier itself is a masterpiece of Art Deco elegance.

With its grand lobby, lush gardens, and stunning oceanfront views, it provided a treasure trove of potential proposal locations.

Sam, after consulting with the ever-helpful hotel staff (who are experts in creating magical moments), decided on proposing in one of the back rooms.

It was romantic and intimate, and the perfect place to pop the question out of the elements.

It was SUPER windy that day.

On the day of the proposal, you could tell that Sam was a nervous ball of excitement.

Waiting for Faith to arrive must have seemed interminable for Sam, but when she finally arrived he was all smiles!
